Hydroxamic acid is an outstanding collector featuring strong collecting capacity and excellent selectivity. It shows favorable collecting performance for various metal oxides, certain refractory oxidized metal minerals, and partially oxidized sulfide ores.
It achieves remarkable flotation results for numerous oxidized metal ores, including copper oxide ore, hematite, yttrium-bearing ore, wolframite, scheelite, ilmenite, niobium-bearing ore, cassiterite and rare earth minerals.
Moreover, it serves as an efficient extractant for gallium, germanium and other metals in non-ferrous metal smelting.
